Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 manual focus lens for Canon EOS cameras

Yes, such a lens does exist. FedEx will be delivering one to me shortly. The plan is to use this with my modified Canon 350D and sell off my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens. My hope is to obtain even sharper widefield astrophotos.
